Social Media Privacy in Family Related Matters

As social media has become a way of life for people, and sometimes their immediate reactions become part of a social announcement, there are ways to protect yourselves.

Parties that are entering into agreements whether it be a marital settlement agreement, paternity agreement, mediation agreement, should consider adding a clause in their agreements enjoining the parties from putting the other parties names, photos, conversations, etc on any social media.

This could be an avenue for people to think twice before airing dirty laundry on social media.
